The Lefton China Company was founded by George Zoltan Lefton in 1941. Mr. Lefton was born in Hungary and came to the United States in 1939. An avid china collector, Mr. Lefton began shaping ideas for his own ceramic business upon arrival in the United States. He founded the Lefton China company in Chicago, Illinois and it is still operating there today. Due to the excellent quality and wide variety of styles, patterns, series, and themes Lefton China will be in great demand by collectors for many years to come.
